INSPIRATION (Giving direction to your day) - OLA AINA

HOLYSPIRIT AT CREATION

Text: “And the earth was without form, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Gen 1:2

The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in the life of a believer. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the godhead. He’s the custodian of God’s operation on the earth today. God’s involvement in our lives will be very little to nothing without the active involvement of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Holy Spirit was literally involved in virtually everything that God did and still doing on the earth. This is why we must have a very clear understanding of the Holy Spirit and the roles he wants to play in our lives.

From our anchor scripture we can see clearly that the Holy Spirit was involved right from creation. The earth was shapeless, empty and filled with darkness. God began the process of putting in order what he saw. He began to speak and the Holy Spirit went into executing what God said.  The state of the earth at creation could also be the state of the human life. So many lives are out of shape, empty and full of darkness. All that can be changed by allowing the Holy Spirit to take his place in our lives.

I strongly believe that the Spirit of God is bringing “form” to someone’s life today. Whatever is out of shape is been worked upon by the Spirit today. We must consciously involve the Holy Spirit in whatever area of life that seems out of shape around us. The Spirit of God will also ensure that our lives are filled with purpose and filled with the goodness of God. When you are filled with purpose you know exactly why you are here and what you should do with your life. The goodness of God is our bail-out in the face of life challenges.  May your life be filled with the goodness of God. By the Spirit darkness is giving way for light in your life.

PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus I declare that the Spirit of God is working in me and giving me “form”.
