INSPIRATION (Giving direction to your day) - OLA AINA

BREAK THE LIMITS

Text: “And the Lord said to Abram…lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward…,For all the land which thou seest,to thee will I give it...”Gen 13:14-15

One of my experiences about life recently is that most people that know us and are familiar with us put us in a box in their minds. They seem to know us in a particular way and don’t really expect us to go beyond that level. If you announce to them a promotion or a sudden breakthrough they might even be wondering how it happened and why it is you.

Whatever we have done so far in life is so small compared to what we can do. All you have done so far is just like a drop in the ocean of eternity. Most of us have not even started yet. Thank God for what you have done but you can do more.

Don’t allow anyone to put you in a box. No one has the right to tell you what you cannot do or where you cannot go. Maybe you should tell the person; who said so? Provided that what you want to do is legitimate and within God’s purpose for your life. You can start your own business. You can do whatever the Spirit of God prompts you to do.

Breaking the limits begins in your mind. How far do you see yourself going in life? There was little that Abram could have seen with the natural eyes. The sight was more of an inner one. The boundary of your vision is the extent of your life.

David refused to accept Saul’s limitation on his life. He confronted Goliath and the rest is history (1 Sam 17:33). There are really no limitations on your life except you place it there by yourself and the ones you allow people and circumstances to place on you. Don’t accept the status-quo; you can get better, bigger and brighter.

PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus every limitation on your life is broken. Nothing will hinder your progress in life.
