INSPIRATION (Giving direction to your day) - OLA AINA

HOLYSPIRIT AT RESSURECTION

Text: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Rom 8:11

There are so many miracles in the Bible but I strongly believe that the greatest of them all are the miracle of creation, the conception of Jesus and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. This three stands out very clearly in scriptures. Just as we have discussed in the past two (2) days these miracles are direct workings of the Holy Spirit. This is a clear indication that whatever God will do in our lives are done by the Holy Spirit. We must therefore relate intimately with the Holy Spirit. We cannot really experience the divine operations without the Holy Spirit fully involved in our lives.

From our anchor scripture today it’s clear again that the Holy Spirit was responsible for the resurrection of Christ from the dead. It was absolutely the miracle of the Holy Spirit. This is what is referred to as the quickening power of the Holy Spirit. To “Quicken” means to make alive, to bring back to life. This is the same thing the Spirit of God wants to do in our lives.

Dead situations can be quickened by the power of the Holy Spirit. Dead businesses can come back to life. Dead academics can come back to life. Dead wombs can come back to life. I strongly believe that this was the process that brought back to life the womb of Sarah; her womb was completely dead. The scripture talking about Abraham said “As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Rom 4:17

We must trust God for this same work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our anchor scripture tells us that he will quicken our mortal bodies. We must stay conscious and confident of the indwelling Holy Spirit. He’s working right in your spirit.

CONFESSION:
The Spirit of God is at work in my spirit bringing to life everything in me and around me.
