IS THERE NO LOVE WITHOUT CHILDREN, IN MARRIAGE?

My name is Williams, am 38 years old a very comfortable businessman, am married but have no children. I'm having a hard time coordinating my writing so as to bring about proper understanding of my dilemma.

I got married 5 years ago to my wife Tonia, at first we were so happy because we always involved God in our business. 1, 2, 3, years no child, we kept believing God for a miracle until a friend asked me if we are medically OK. This was when it occurred to us that we have not done any medical checks concerning that issue. We wanted the best for ourselves, after trying about 5 hospitals in Nigeria and they said nothing was wrong with us. 2 year after no child, we decided to fly out for the test. That was when the whole Issue with my wife started.

we did about 3 different test and it was confirmed that I can't get a woman pregnant, even if it was to happen its a 50/50 chance. That was the saddest news I heard in my years of marriage. We got back to Nigeria and my wife filled for a divorce with the help of her mother.

I begged her to stay and hope for the 50% chance she didn't say anything. Few days after I went out as usual for my business but forgot my phone at home, I had to rush back home for it. On getting to the door I heard people talking about me, it was my wife's voice, her mother and another man, I couldn't recognize his voice. And what I heard crippled me. 
My wife's mother: Don't worry Tonia, am your mother I will make sure I go spiritual on this matter
My wife: Mama I cant wait for this useless man to die, I want to be free from this bondage of childlessness.
The Man: He is so dumb to not suspect anything all these while. How did you marry this dumb-ass man. 
My wife: Bayo (the name of the strange voice)you know it wasn't meant to last this long, it was suppose to be chop and go as usual.
My wife's mother:Tonia you just keep pretending all is well till I find out from the prophet our next step. Bayo don't forget you must monitor his every moves oh.

I couldn't believe my ears, I walked out to where I parked my car and left for the office.On getting home that day, I told my wife I will sign the divorce papers but she should please still consider my plea, she says she wasn't interested anymore in the divorce, that she has torn the papers. I acted confused and told her I will not eat her food or touch her again until she provides the papers because I know she wanted the divorce desperately. (of cos I was only being careful before she poisons me).

The last straw that broke the camel's back is, Bayo is my wife man friend of many years. On many occasions after the conversation between my wife, her mother and Bayo. I have seen both of them kissing and romancing in the living room. And twice having sex. They don't know I know their plans and am so scared. But Dr. I need help before this people kill me.
