INSPIRATION (Giving direction to your day) - OLA AINA

YOU ARE NOT A JUNK

Text: “And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him...” 1 Sam 16:11
I have a mandate to inspire you to be all you were created to be. Nothing outside the best is good for you.

God looked at Adam and saw a world. He looked at barren Abraham and saw nations. In Jacob, a deceiver, He saw a prince. In Moses the murderer, God saw a deliverer. God was looking at a stammering man and he saw the greatest leader in history.

When the world dumps and rejects you, and you land on the garbage heap of the world, God walks along and picks you up. He looks within you and sees a person of great worth.

Don’t ever let anybody throw you away. You are not junk. When God looks at you, He sees things that everybody ignores. You are worth so much that Jesus went to Calvary to salvage and reclaim you. The Spirit of God connected to your spirit is the only true judge of your worth. Don’t accept the opinions of others because they do not see what God sees.

Samuel was sent to the house of Jesse to pick a King for Israel; all the sons of Jesse at home were paraded until God rejected all. David was far away from home. His father never thought he could be qualified to become a King. Outwardly nothing looked like a King on him. But the potentials to become one were already within him. God was seeing in him what others did not see. David was the youngest; all they thought he was good for was to keep sheep. How you feel or what others say about you is not important. You are who God says you are; He sees in you more than you can possibly imagine.

CONFESSION:
There are great potentials in me. God sees the best in me. He sees in me a King. He sees in me greatness.
