HOLYSPIRIT AT CONCEPTION

Text: “And the angel answered and said unto her, the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee...” Luke 1:35

The angel appeared unto Mary and declared unto her that she was going to have a baby as a virgin. It was absolutely impossible medically. There was no way conception will take place other than the biological process of mating of eggs.  It was quite natural for Mary to ask the question “...How shall this be, seeing I know not a man”?  It has never happened before; it was an impossible case. What she did not realise initially is that with men it may be impossible but with God all things are possible.

If we really understand God we’ll realise that He does not speak according to our ability and capacity but according to his own infinite power and possibilities. Nothing is beyond God. Nothing can stop whatever he wants to do in our lives. All God wanted Mary to do was to agree with what was said and believe that this was possible with no scientific proof for its possibilities.

The angel went ahead to explain to Mary in detailed terms how this will come to pass. The explanation that the angel gave is also the divine pattern of turning hopeless and impossible cases around in our lives. Whatever looks impossible around our lives can be turned around in our favour. “..The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee...”      

It’s possible you are asking yourself “how will I make something great out of my life?” How will I turn this situation around?  Divine response will be the same. The Holy Ghost will overshadow you. When this happen the weakness around us is turned into strength, the foolishness is turned into wisdom and the shame into glory. Don’t give up on anything God has said to you. It may look impossible but the power of the Holy Ghost can handle it. Just give the Holy Spirit all the room he needs to function in your life. Impossibility has become possible in your life.

In the name of Jesus the Holy Spirit is at work in every area of my life. Situations are turned in my favour.
