ARE LEFT HANDED PEOPLE CURSED?

It worries me how some people treat left handed people, like they are caused or they bring "Bad Luck" as people say. Read my encounter this morning.

You all know am left handed, right? Ok now you know! I took our daughter to school this morning and journeyed down to PHCN office to pay our bill. On my way back from PHCN  I was attracted to a lovely lunch bag for kids, so I decided to check it out maybe its affordable for our daughter. 

Of cos it was and quickly I made my choice from the numerous bags as Danielle needed a change of lunch bag. After I bargained and we concluded on the price, I brought out the cash and handed it over to the woman with my left hand, she was like God forbid do I want to give her bad luck this morning being the first person to enter her shop. She started telling me how bad it is to use the left hand and how its caused. And said her daughter uses left hand and she is trying to do all her best to stop her. Because they turn out to be nothing in life. Choi ignorant.

Hmmmm! I asked her if she knew Obama is Left-handed and the President of America, Ok let's not go too far how about Fashola former Governor of Lagos State, and of cos my very own self who has all the endowment, from Intelligence to Creativity to Management skills to Beauty and lot more. She didn't answer. I asked her if she is a christian or moslem she said christian, Ok please show me where it's written in the Bible that Left handed people are cursed, she couldn't answer, what really does she know about being left handed. She said nothing, so why reject from God's creation because of some fetish beliefs. She couldn't say anything or give me a reason for rejecting the money from my left hand, but only because people say it bad luck.   

She was like hmmmm, nah people like una sabi all these things nah because una go school. I told her no be school matter be this one, STOP STIGMATIZATION on what God created beautiful and in His Own Image. If He, God didn't want you to have a left hand he wouldn't give you because it wouldn't be useful.

So, please let's stop this abuse on Left handed people! Am Proudly Left Handed and fully endowed!
