DONT BURN BRIDGES

We decided to share this story so we can all learn and grow from it. Please read because it will help you rethink and understand that we are created to be relational.
Tuesday evening at about 6pm, Team Diamond were having a session with one of their Mentors when suddenly we heard noise of collision outside. We all rushed out to see what must have caused such commotion. On getting there what we saw was the above picture. The truck had brake failure to avoid hitting passerbys he ran into our Mentor's car, parked outside his office.

The driver was so sad and confused because he knew the trouble he's got himself into. While investigating what, how and who owns the truck. He told us the truck was owned by our Mentor's neighbor.

Here's the real reason behind this story.
It turned out that the owner of the truck on several occasions had being very rude to our mentor, each time he went to her shop to buy stuffs from her. But just to build a good relationship since they are neighbors, he kept going there and kept pushing and joking with her.

But she kept being rude keeping him at arms length and each time her sales girl will apologize on her behalf.  Few months after trying he stopped. Few weeks after he stopped, her truck bashed his vehicle. Same vehicle he was meant to travel with today.

How will this woman approach this man she's being rude to. How will she even say am so sorry Sir. Will she say she's his neighbor and should please understand her plight.

Personally, we have had issue about people who have burnt the bridges with us. And same people fall back to us when everyone seems far away. Being who we are we accept them back, forgive them and move on. But never on the same level as it use to be.

How often do you burn bridges because of PRIDE. Think about it and make amends, because there may be no second chance to rebuild the broken bridges. We all need each other.
