THE APOSTLE OF PURPOSE
Just as it's said by Shakespeare "the world is a stage
where we the inhabitants are actors, when we're done playing our part we depart
the stage.” A great man who's made a global impact had played his part in the
stage of life and is passed on with his adorable wife. It's a great loss not to
the families of The Munroe but to the world at large. But then again if we take
time to think of how this great man would think about what has happened and see
it from he's eyes we'll have cause to rejoice even in this tragedy because in
the actual sense it's not a tragedy as he says in one of his books 'in pursuit
of purpose' THE GREATEST TRAGEDY IN LIFE
IS NOT DEATH BUT LIFE WITHOUT A PURPOSE. The author of 69 books has left
more than a legacy. I think at this time we need to reminiscence how much of
purpose are we fulfilling? Have you discovered purpose? What are you doing to
affect your generation? I can never forget when I had my first personal
encounter with this great man when he was invited to our church, I was
privilege to shake his hands and after listening to him my life had a paradigm
shift! And since then I've been on course a purposeful living! True success
isn't about how much wealth you amass but how many lives you've touched or affected
positively! Every leader in Nigeria should read his latest book CHARACTER!
Dr. Myles Munroe was an internationally
renowned bestselling author, lecturer, teacher, life coach, government
consultant, and leadership mentor. He had travelled around the world training
leaders in business, government, education, sports, media, and religion.
This multi-gifted motivational speaker serves
as a business consultant to governments, Fortune 500 companies and
corporations, addressing critical issues that affect every aspect of human,
professional, leadership, social, and spiritual development.
Dr. Munroe represented his country as the
youngest recipient of the Queen's Birthday Honors of the Order of The British
Empire (OBE) Award 1998 bestowed by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth of England,
for his spiritual and social contributions to the national development of the
Bahamas.
He was also honored by the government of the
Bahamas with the Silver Jubilee Award (SJA) for providing twenty-five years of
outstanding service to the Bahamas in the category of spiritual, social and
religious development.
Pastor Myles was the senior pastor of Bahamas
Faith Ministries International Fellowship, where his wife, Ruth Ann (who also
was involved in the Plane crash), served as co-senior pastor.
